CHRV members met with Alan Tonks, Member of Parliament for York South-Weston. He is a member from the Liberal Party and the Ontario Caucus Chair. We spoke to him regarding our upcoming events in June, particularly the conference in Ottawa and the workshops across the GTA.

CHRV member discussed with George Smitherman regarding the hunger strike in Queens Park, Ontario. Mr. Smitherman invited Gunam Veerakathipillai to  the Parliament building at the Queens Park on May 15 to discuss about ending up the hunger strike. Mr. Veerakathipillai ended his hunger strike later on that day.
