The Canadian Human Rights Voice (CHRV) is an organization that is committed to promote, educate, defend, and express support for human rights throughout the world.
For the third consecutive year, CHRV is hosting a seminar to focus on the importance of women’s rights, in particular, in the same month as the United Nations recognizes the date of March 8th as International Women’s Day.
To commemorate International Women’s Day, the Canadian Human Rights Voice and Almas Jiwani Foundation are proud to host our 3rd Annual Women’s Rights Seminar on Saturday, March 19th, 2016. The event will take place at the YWCA’s Nancy Auditorium from 2:00PM – 5:00PM.
Various topics will be discussed by human rights experts under the umbrella of “Women’s Rights in Africa”.
